Many business students have been asking me to teach marketing from very basic through my articles.

I turned down many requests by saying sorry, that i write advanced marketing articles . As everyone was learning fundamentals in universities and business schools, I thought why I’d be doing the same?

But I was wrong…

I was wrong because mostly students never clearly understand the basic marketing concepts at the first place.

I was wrong because by neglecting basic concepts, they would not be able to get the advance marketing concepts right.

In fact, I met many marketing professionals who are still practicing marketing whatever they think is right.

That’s why, once, I wrote an article to advice young professionals and students : Top Three Types of People To Avoid In Marketing.

I regret that I disappointed so many students. Who would have gone to the wrong path by now.

Good job – continue to experiment – I put your efforts under innovation category – atleast there is someone in marketing who is creating new terminology, using technology and expanding boundaries. Atleast you are not copying.
